Hello all!
Thanks for standing by while we make the switchover to Massif and get everything organized. Today brings a few important and interesting updates for the beta branch:
- You can now produce raw text statblocks by clicking the small button at the bottom of Pilot and Config pages. Useful for posting builds on messaging services
- ari overhauled the compendium with a much better, more intuitive interface and search function. It looks great, to boot.
- Active Mode is now a thing -- toggle it via the power icon on the pilot and mech cards in the Roster and Hangar, respectively
- Active status is a way to mark a pilot and/or mech as being active in a game of LANCER
- Only one mech can be active per pilot, but any number of pilots can be active at any one time
- Setting a pilot or mech to Active status allows you to track their stats (HP, Heat, Repair Capacity, etc)
- When printing a pilot with an Active mech, you can optionally choose to print the mech as well
- the UNCLE-class NHP mod is now assigned as a mod (wrench icon on the mounted weapon header)
Active Mode is pretty bare-bones right now, but it sets the foundation for COMP/CON as a digital character sheet. You'll see a lot more Active Mode functionality in the coming days and weeks!
Also, you may find there are some issues with loadouts, especially after deleting or duplicating a loadout. These are known bugs and the whole loadout system is in line for a rewrite.
