Beta & Stable Branches

Hello everyone!

The response to the official release of this app was amazing -- much better than I expected. I got some great feedback already, so thank you very much.

Today's update makes a few minor fixes discovered in the stable build, and also introduces the Beta branch, which will be getting all incoming new features. After testing, they'll move into the Stable branch. Feel free to try Beta if there's a feature you're interested in, but be wary of bugs. If you find one, please let me know with the automated bug reporting tool.

Stable:

• IMPORTANT: The installers are going away in favor of portable builds with good itch.io integration
  • The installers (windows especially) were causing a lot of issues. The portables have been comparatively sturdy.
  • This changes the names of the itch files. This shouldn't cause a problem, but if it does, please tell me.
  • If this is going to cause a problem for you otherwise, let me know and we'll work something out
• Adds a missing "Overcharge" tag to the Engineer Talent Prototype Weapon
• Fixes a bug that prevented the sidebar full of Pilots from scrolling

Beta:

• NEW FEATURE: ari's Lancer Discord Google Sheets Character Sheet (!) importer is now a part of COMP/CON
  • Find it under Add New Pilot -> Import from GSheet
• NEW FEATURE: Add New Config and Remove Item/Weapon/System buttons have been restyled. Received several comments that new users were having trouble finding these buttons. 
  • Further improvements to the Pilot > New Configuration flow will be coming in the near future
• NEW FEATURE:  Custom Pilot Backgrounds
  • Find it as the last option in the Pilot Background Selector
  • No descriptions or recommended triggers, this is a per-Pilot custom background
  • Homebrew preset backgrounds will be coming in a future update
• NEW FEATURE: Compendium Reference: Statuses and Tags
  • Includes Structure Damage and Overheat Tables
  • More quick reference pages are incoming in future updates
